Hi! My name is Anna and I'm a visual designer and artist living in Austin, Texas.
In the 1st grade, I created a little paper world. I made detailed tiny people, pets, neighborhoods, schools, trees, etc. out of paper during break time at school. I worked on this project for months until I had probably used up a small forest. To this day, I still love working and creating with paper.
I taught myself how to watercolor during my last semester of school. I was feeling overwhelmed with job searching and graduation and I turned to art as a stress relief. After a few weeks passed, my friends and family started to notice my new hobby. I was soon invited to a local art show and to stock my watercolors at a local gallery! Watercoloratx officially became a business and it’s been an adventure ever since!
Leftover paper from my projects are turned into scrap paper for notes, new sketches, confetti (yay) and even smaller watercolors too.
In my free time, I enjoy drinking coffee, running (my goal is a 10k), playing with my dog Finn and spending time outdoors.
